She was the youngest daughter of seven children and grew up in Portage, Michigan. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost in her late twenty's in Chicago, Illinois where she became an active member of Starks Temple C.O.G.I.C., under the late Pastor Elder JP Starks. She relocated back to West Michigan in 1994 where she settled in Kalamazoo, Michigan and began a career as a care giver. She was a caring individual who enjoyed taking photos, traveling, and dancing. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. She passed away on Saturday September 4, 2010, after suffering a heart attack. Jackie is survived by her husband, Preston Moore, Sr.; son and daughter, Preston "Bubby" Moore, Jr. and Jacqueana Kizer; two grandsons, Daquayveon and Andre Kizer; two granddaughters, Rebekah and Eve Kizer; her mother, Mildred Kizer; father, Calvin Kizer; nin! e brothers and sisters, Michelle Kizer, Beverly Kizer, Vivian Kizer, Kathree Johnson, Tammy Casey, Gregory Kizer, Donald Kizer, Calvin Kizer Jr., and Arthur Woods; and a host of relatives. Although Jackie has left this life, her joyous, beautiful spirit will live on through all who knew and loved her. Services will be held Friday, September 10 at 1:00 PM with a 12 Noon family hour from the Galilee Baptist Church. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery.
