"Kate" Of Kalamazoo Passed away Thursday September 9, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. Kate was born February 8, 1922 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Fred and Grace (Cook) Ruess. On August 9, 1941 she was united in marriage to Conrad Bos who preceded her in death on May 15, 1997. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Jerry; three daughters, Loanne, Bonnie, Deborah; brothers and sister, William, Helen, John and Earl. Prior to her retirement she worked for several years at Corsiglia's Restaurant and then later worked part-time at Langeland Family Funeral Homes for 18 years. She is survived by her son, Gilbert Bos; six grandchildren, Brett, Bryan, Paul, Mark, Eric, and Amy; several great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Carol VanderSlik, Margaret Ramos, Fred Ruess, Edward Ruess; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 1:00 o'clock Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick with Rev. Jim Dyke officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest! Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Thursday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
