Clara was born on July 17, 1931 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Carl and Edith (Walden) Miller. Clara enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Ray Ritter Sr. in 1981; a granddaughter, Angie Smith on September 26, 1991; a son, Lloyd (Sonny) Ray Ritter, Jr. on December 19, 2007; a son-in-law, Charles "Charlie" Schwab on May 14, 2010 and her daughter, Nancy Smith on June 20, 2010. Clara is survived by a son, Leroy Eugene Ritter of Kalamazoo; a daughter, Alberta Pauline Schwab of Parchment; a son-in-law, Ronald Joseph Smith Sr.; a daughter-in-law, Denessa Lynn Nevaeh of Kalamazoo; a sister, Marjorie (John) Reynolds of Dowling, MI; ten grandchildren: Anita (Jerry); Melissa; Leighann (Cliff); Carl (Carrie); Steven (Joy); Charlene; Butch; Lisa; Chuck; and Michael; 21 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephe! ws. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9, 2010 at the Almena Cemetery with Pastor Keith Heyn of Plainwell Baptist Church officiating.
