My own father is now in his late seventies and knows very little about his father's history other than name, birth date, and place.. he died in 1942 in Los Angeles, CA of TB (at 48) and was confined to a hospital for many years prior to his death. I have a marriage certificate for 1928 to my grandmother however everything prior to 1928 is speculation and heresay. I'm trying, so far unsuccessfully, to see if I can find any family connections in Michigan. I appreciate your response and the link.
