Of Kalamazoo, MI Died Monday evening, March 17, 2008. Jodie was born February 26, 1956 in Battle Creek, Michigan, a daughter of Theodore and Sharon (Elderidge) Bowers. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident and was employed with Borgess Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore; a sister, Beth; a nephew, David and her in-laws, Sharon and Vern Greenwood. She is survived by two children, Vern Greenwood III and Jamie Greenwood, both of Kalamazoo;six grandchildren, Alexis Greenwood, David Cook, Jacob and Katie Gifford and Brian and "G" Weitz; her mother, Sharon Bowers of Kalamazoo; two brothers, Teddy (Kathy) Bowers of Galesburg and Jamie (Jenny) Bowers of Kalamazoo; two sisters, Sherry Bowers and Nancy Perez, both of Kalamazoo; her companion and his family, Jim Moyer and Charon (Gary Weitz) Moyer all of Kalamazoo; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held 11 o'clock Saturday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 West ! Battle Creek St. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday.
