Passed away March 6, 2008. Carol was born in Kalamazoo on January 28, 1942 the daughter of Elwin and Ada (Van Sweden) Schmidt. Carol is survived by a son; Tim and Ann Tuin of Kalamazoo, three grandchildren; Lauren, Lexi, Jackson Tuin, brother; Kenneth E. Schmidt of Battle Creek, one niece, one nephew.
