She was born in Lafayette, Indiana on March 31, 1925, the daughter of James Lee and Anna May (Leighty) Dawson. Mrs. Cressy has been a long time resident of this area. She was employed as a secretary for J.L. Hudson Company for over 15 years. Anna loved to sew, play the organ, dance and especially loved her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Cressy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Douglas Cressy, in 2002. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Pamela (Brian) Jobin of Vicksburg, MI; two grandchildren, Lisa (David) Jobin-Sink of Vicksburg and Matthew (Kimberly) Jobin of Grand Rapids; four great-grandchildren, Justin and Ryan Sink and Malachi and Issac Jobin; one sister-in-law, Katherine Hicks of Cincinnati, OH; one brother-in-law, Bernard Cressy of Las Vegas, NV. Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held in Richardson Cemetery at a lat! er date this spring. Memorials may be donated to Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
