He was born December 5, 1949 in Kalamazoo. Luke was a Vietnam veteran. He was employed by Georgia Pacific for 33 years until his retirement, and was a member of Lighthouse Community Church. On August 16, 1980, he was united in marriage to Louann Molby in Kalamazoo, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Luke Ormanovich Jr. of Comstock, Nanette (Scott) Hatfield of Comstock, Brian (Sharon) Ormanovich of Comstock, and Amanda Ormanovich of Kalamazoo; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Doris Ormanovich of Kalamazoo; two brothers and two sisters, Chuck (Sandy) Ormanovich of Kalamazoo, Doris Carl of Portage, David (Sherry) Bresson of White Pigeon, and Carla (John) Rhoda of Schoolcraft; his birth father, Franz Bresson of Schoolcraft; also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding him in death was his father, Louis Ormanovich. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday at Langeland Family! Funeral Homes, Comstock Chapel, 6121 King Highway, with Rev. Danny Janes and Rev. Bruce Howell officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Monday (tomorrow) at the funeral home.
