Dagny was born on May 8, 1912 in Menominee, MI, the daughter of Anton and Margit (Ericksen) Larsen. Dagny was a certified X-Ray Technician having trained at the University of Chicago. She married John J. Meyers, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Clara Bergren and two brothers, William and Edward Larsen. Dagny is survived by her daughter, Jacalyn (David) Todd of Kalamazoo; a granddaughter, Julie Marie Todd; a sister, Agnes Knuth of Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews. The Meyers lived in Trenton, MI, then retired to Punta Gorda, FL where Dagny sang and continued to be active in Women's Club and First United Methodist Church for over 30 years. She was an accomplished cook and seamstress, and enjoyed many art forms including aluminum engraving and sketching. She returned to Michigan in 2004 to be near her family. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken plac! e. A celebration of new life will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 1:30 PM at Park Village Pines Retirements Center, 2920 Crystal Lane. Interment of cremains will be in Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Park Village Pines Retirement Center. Arrangements by the REDMOND Funeral Home 4100 S.
