Of Kalamazoo Passed away, Thursday, January 24, 2008 at her home in Kalamazoo. She was born April 3, 1942 in Kalamazoo, to Marinus and Maxine (Westbrook) Van Sweden. Surviving Gayle is her mother, Maxine; son, Michael Wertz of Grand Rapids; granddaughter, Amanda; several cousins; three aunts; and special family friends, Dennita Warner and family. Preceding her in death was her father, Marinus. No visitation or services are scheduled. Arrangements by the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
