GROFVERT - Of Kalamazoo, MI, Loving husband and dad, Paul died Saturday, October 4, 1997 at his home. Paul was born April 8, 1926 in Kalamazoo, the son of John and Hattie (BLEEKER) GROFVERT. During W.W. II he served in the U.S. Army and for forty years owned and operated Top-O-Hill Poultry Farm. He was a member of the Twin Lakes Reformed Church, where he served on Consistory and taught Sunday School, served on Alamo Township Zoning Board and Kalamazoo County Farm Bureau, was a 4-H leader and Alamo Little League baseball coach. Throughout his years, Paul touched the lives of many people. His charity and integrity were widely admired. His devotion to his church and family was an inspiration to all who knew him. On September 11, 1948 he was united in marriage to Eleanor FRENCH, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Allen GROFVERT of Holt, Anne GROFVERT and her husband, Dennis PACE of Dimondale, and David GROFVERT and his wife, Debra of Hamilton; tw! o grandchildren, Jennifer and John PAUL; in-laws, Patricia and Harry MOYLE and Norman and Betty FRENCH; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 o'clock Wednesday at the Twin Lakes Reformed Church, 5475 Ravine Road, with Rev. Mr. Mark Mast, Rev. Mr. Don DeYoung and Rev. Mr. Truman Raak officiating. Private graveside services will be held in Alamo Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
