GRIFFITH - Kalamazoo, MI, died Sunday evening, December 7, 1997. Mrs. GRIFFITH was born May 1, 1910 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a daughter of Harry and Nellie HOOPER. She had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident, and owned Griffith Dairy for 40 years with her husband before her retirement. She also taught at Roosevelt School years ago. She was an active member of the former Simpson United Methodist Church and presently Westwood United Methodist Church. On August 7, 1933, she was united in marriage to Frank B. GRIFFIN, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Dale (Darlene) GRIFFITH of Kalamazoo; 2 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services will be held 11 o'clock Wednesday from the Langeland Family funeral Homes Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. with the Rev. Mr. Eric Beck officiating. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. this evening. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
