Chris was born February 6, 198l in Sturgis, a son to Thomas Ray and Linda (King) Kilpatrick. Chris had lived in Colon for the past year coming from Vicksburg where he had attended School graduating from Vicksburg High School with the class of 1999. He then continued his education at Brown Institute in St. Paul, MN, where he graduated with an associates degree in communication. Chris had worked for Vanguard Industries in Colon. Chris enjoyed golf, snowboarding and jet skiing at his grandmother's home. He was a big Chicago Bears and Cubs fan and loved the Michigan Wolverines. He is survived by his mother, Linda (Al) Musall of Colon; father, Thomas Kilpatrick of Sturgis; grandmother, Elma M. King of Wolcottville, IN; grandfather, George Kilpatrick of Centreville. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard King and grandmother, Eleanore Kilpatrick. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday fro! m 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. in Colon. Funeral services celebrating the life of Christopher R. Kilpatrick will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Graham of the Colon United Methodist Church, officiating. If desired, the family suggest memorials be made in memory of Chris to either Colon Community Park or the Colon United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
