TURRENTINE - Kalamazoo, Passed away Friday morning January 10, 1997 in the V.A. Medical Center, Battle Creek. Mr. TURRENTINE was born February 11, 1932 in Morgan County, AL, the son of Robert E. and Edna (BLACK) TURRENTINE, and was a resident here since 1953. He served with the U.s. Army during the Korean Conflict. He had formerly been employed by the Eckrich Company, Roelof Dairies, and Statler Ready-Mix Concrete. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife Pauline; one son and two daughters, Raymond H. TURRENTINE Jr. of Hartselle, AL, Terisia LUDWIG of Toledo, OR, and Beckie CAMPBELL of Kalamazoo; two step-children, James RIVARD and Cathy JONES, both of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; five brothers, Robert Louis TURRENTINE and Charles TURRENTINE, both of Alabama; James TURRENTINE of Georgia, Frank TURRENTINE of Oklahoma, and Henry TURRENTINE of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded! in death by a sister, Roberta MARTIN. Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Memorial Chapel 622 S. Burdick St. with the Rev. Mr. John W. Vick, of the First Free Will Baptist Church, officiating. Interment in Ft. Custer National Cemetery with military honors. Friends may meet the family at the chapel Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the V.A.
