She was born January 4, 1965 in Kalamazoo, MI, the only child of Charlie and Ida Faye FRANKS. She was a 1983 graduate of Kalamazoo Central HIgh School, and was employed by the Federal Government and a resident of Hiram, Georgia. While attended [sic] Langston University she became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Vallie Ree MARTIN; grandfather, Albert FRANKS; and two uncles, Michael and Kenneth MARTIN. She is survived by her parents, Charlie and Ida Faye FRANKS; her stepmother, Leola; and step-brother, Anthony DANIELS; a grandmother, Naomi FRANKS and her grandfather, Matthew MARTIN; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousin, other relatives and friends throughout the country. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 2, at Christian Life Center, Pastor Joe Brooks officiating. Interment Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.
