Mr. GRIM was born in Essex, MO, December 1, 1918, the son of Louis and Effie (BRINSON) GRIM. Cleo was a WW II Army veteran, was employed by National Gypsum over 30 years, retiring in 1980, and was an avid gardener, fisherman and hunter. On February 5, 1944, he married Hazel E. MARVIN, who preceded him in death on May 23, 1997. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Donald MARVIN and Craig GRIM; a daughter, DeAnna GRIM; a grandson, Richard MARVIN; three brothers, Fred GRIM, Leo GRIM, and Ochel GRIM; and a sister, Oneida MC ROY. Surviving are four children and spouses, Charles (Shirley) MARVIN of Hartselle, AL, Monie (David) SMEAD of Paw Paw, Yvonne (Matthew) BOND of Kalamazoo, and Paul (Martha) GRIM of Allegan; daughter-in-law, Lula WELCH of Gobles; a brother, Floyd (Geneva) GRIM of Dexter, MO; two sisters, Grade DARBY of Essex, MO, and Ollie MEKAN of Poplar Bluff! , MO; three sisters-in-law, Nellie GRIM of Kalamazoo, Alice GRIM of Bloomfield, MO, Louisa VEDAA of Kalamazoo; two brothers-in-law, Raymond MARVIN of Tampa, FL, and Clayton MARVIN of Titusville, PA; many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the funeral home beginning Sunday afternoon, where Services will be held Monday morning at 11 o'clock with Rev. Horace Turner of First Baptist Church of Paw Paw, officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery with full military honors by the Comstock VFW Post #6257. The family will be at the funeral home from 2-4 Sunday afternoon. Joldersma & Klein 917 S.
