Kalamazoo, MI Virginia M. (Michael) Johns, 88, of Friendship Village, Kalamazoo, who was formerly of Glen Rock, PA, died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Bronson Hospital. She was the wife of the late Mervin R. Johns. Funeral services will be held at Lazarus United Church of Christ, Lineboro, MD. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327 (717) 235-6822 is in charge of the arrangements. She has lived in Kalamazoo since 2005. She leaves a son, Ronald E. Johns and his wife Elaine of Portage, MI; two grandchildren, Andrew Johns and his wife Lori of Pitman, NJ and Rebecca Johns of Toledo, OH; a great granddaughter, Abigail Johns; a sister, Sarah C. Michael; and a brother, Rodger E. Michael. Memorial donations may be made to the Lazarus United Church of Christ, 5101 South Church Street, Lineboro, MD, 21102-3132.
