Shelia was born September 12, 1946 in Leeds, AL the daughter of David and Vivian (Scott) Byers. Preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Jan. Shelia retired from Stryker Instrutement in Jan of 2010. Survived by her husband, Ron Ashley; brothers, David (Rodi) Byers of Cleveland, TX, Roger (Jane) Byers, Mike (Linda) Byers, Ron (Karen) Byers all of Kalamazoo, Judy (Danny) Minick of Houston, TX; children, Kathy (Jeff) Douglas of Richland, Kevin Parker of Baton Rouge, LA Shawn (Julie) Lairmore of Tarkington, TX; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. At her request cremation has taken place. A service will be held at a later date.
