Kent was born April 3, 1970 in Kalamazoo. He is the son of Ronald (Dorothy) Harding and Jan Harding all of Portage. He is also survived by two brothers, Brian of Battle Creek and Craig (Val) of Portage; daughters, Sabrina (Mark) Mollohan, Kyrah (Jamie) Vendeville, and long time special friend, Pearl Statler; He was the very proud Grandfather (papa) of Destiny and Masson; and loving uncle to Marcus, Lacey, Travis, Makenzie, Ashlee; and caretaker of his affectionate household friends, Whiskey and Rocky. Kent's loyalty and faithfulness to his family and friends had no end. As a lifelong loyal Detroit Lions fan, he bled Honolulu Blue and Silver and would have never been able to celebrate enough Jeff Gordon NASCAR victories. Kent thoroughly enjoyed his career as a Carpenter and aspired to some day have his own business. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday evening 7-9 PM at Kalamazoo Com! munity Church, 2435 N 26th Street. A funeral Service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, also at the church. In lieu of flowers, financial contributions can be made to the Grandchildren's college fund payable to Kalamazoo Community Church. Published in the Kalamazoo Gazette on 3/4/2008.
