He was in the Civil War enlisting in the 6th Michigan Cav. His father's name was Asa. 1st Lieut. Norton was awarded the Medal of Honor on April 6th, 1865 for HEROISM. We at the Sons of Union Veterans are hoping to have a gravestone dedication to honor him and his deeds.
