She was born October 24, 1943, to the late Louis and Valerie (Storcz) Wrona. On July 7, 1990, Carol united in marriage with Michael Ray Newton. Surviving are her husband; children, Laura Hunt, Lela (Mark) Stephanites, Victoria (James IV) Schiro and Jennifer Newton; step-daughters, Lisa (Mark) Robertson and Rita (Todd) Pierce; grandchildren, Jaclyn, Jeffrey, Curtis, Nicole, Marissa and Monica; step-grandchildren, Travis, Leah Rae and Eliot; great- grandchildren, Alyssa, Jordaan, Ethan and Reece; and cousin, Diane O'Kasick. Services will take place on Friday, Feb. 29th, 2:00 PM at St. Martin Catholic Church, 5845 East W Ave., Vicksburg. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services.
