The youngest of five children, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Sabo of Flagstaff, AZ, and sister, Yvonne Sabo-Haralson of Safford, AZ. Connie lived in Tucson with her loving husband, Dean Walker since 2005. She is survived by her husband, Dean Walker; four children, Renae Messner, Richard Giberti, Michael Giberti and Melanie Sieker; two Step-daughters, Cindy James and Rachael Ottley; two sisters, Betty Gillespie and Edna Heggstrom; 13 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, AZ., on Thursday, March 6 at 1PM. Published in the Kalamazoo Gazette on 3/4/2008.
