She was at home surrounded by her family. Louise was born on March 1, 1931 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of Alec and Hazel (Rickman) Comer. Louise was a lifetime member of the Southwest Michigan Coon Hunter's Association. She enjoyed taking care of her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Paulus N. Bishop. She was also preceded in death by six siblings. Surviving are seven children: Neal (Patricia) Bishop of Paw Paw, Gayle (Jim) Baker of Fulton, Ann (Randy, deceased) Seaman, Kay (Dennis) DeVito, and Theresa Bishop all of Kalamazoo, Cindy Bishop-Jones of Paw Paw and Jeff (Deb) Bishop of Galesburg; 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; three great- great-grandchildren; five brothers, four sisters and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends today, March 3, 2008 from 6-8 PM at PARCHMENT-REDMOND Funeral Home 2300 East G Ave - 349-7735 where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 1:00 PM. Reverend George L. Coon officiating. Interment will be in East Cooper Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Borgess-VNA & Hospice, or National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Michigan Chapter, Inc. Published in the Kalamazoo Gazette on 3/3/2008.
