This is certainly adequate unless you're interested in quality reproduction of discrete areas within this book. The Historic Atlas Series version is created from high resolution (400 dpi) .tif scans and then converted to Adobe .pdf format permitting the user to pan and zoom up to 400% or more without viewing digital artifacts in the image. Discrete regions of any advertisement or page can be viewed and or printed in this manner. High quality reproductions customized to the user's taste can therefore be created for use in documentation and reports, or just for your enjoyment. The free low resolution images are surely suitable for general research; however, you get what you pay for. As always, good luck with your research.
