Kalamazoo, MI Died suddenly Tuesday morning, February 2, 2010. Mark was born September, 14 1954 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He had been a Kalamazoo resident most of his life. He was preceded in death by his mother, Opal M. Spears; his brother, Thomas L. Kirsch; and sisters Theresa A. Datema and Elizabeth C. Auten. His is survived by his sons, Sgt. Mark A. Kirsch, U.S. Army of Ft. Carson, Colorado, Brandon L. Kirsch of Kalamazoo; one grandchild; father Gerald L. (Patricia) Kirsch of Mattawan; brother, Stanley J. Kirsch of Kalamazoo; sisters, June A. (Brian) Singleton of Kalamazoo and Amy L. (Dan) Elliott of Mattawan; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. The family will receive friends 2-3 PM with services following at 3 PM Monday at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Cremation will follow the service.
