Of Portage Passed away February 3, 2010 at Portage Tendercare. She was born July 9, 1910 in Grand Rapids, to the late Anthony and Victoria Martinitus. Martha was united in marriage to Edward Halladay on September 5, 1931, who preceded her in death in 1992. Surviving Martha are her children, Lee (Susan) Halladay of Vicksburg and Bertha (Lloyd) Bush of St. Joe; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Also preceding Martha in death was a daughter, JoAnn Paffhausen and her husband, Darwin; and grandson, Dennis Elnick. Family will greet friends on Saturday from 10-11:00 o'clock at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Ave., where services will also take place at 11:00 o'clock. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
