BESTERVELT, Formerly of 521 Fairview, passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 5, 1988. Mrs. BESTERVELT was born December 3, 1896 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Charles V. and Evangeline WEAVER. She was preceded in death by her husband, William O. BESTERVELT in 1975 and 2 brothers, Charles and Ralph WEAVER. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Gloria and Robert B. FISHER of Harbor Springs, MI; 3 granddaughters, Mrs. Craig (Susan) ROLAND of Gainsville [sic], FL. Mrs. Daniel (Debra) STIFF of Bloomfield Hills, MI, and Mrs. Michael (Cynthia) CONLON of Novi, MI; 1 grandson and his wife, William and Marci FISHER of Rolling Meadows, IL; 2 great-grandsons, Christopher and Robert STIFF; 1 niece, 1 nephew; 4 grandnieces and 5 grandnephews. Mrs. BESTERVELT was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Services will be held 1 o'clock Saturday from the Langeland Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, A Trust 100 Chapel. Interment ! in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock at the chapel.
