Richard was a 4th cousin of mine on the Layton/ Blank side and a 7 th cousin on my paternal Fenstermacher side. Even though we never met . I am as I have been told I should be proud to have been related to him. And greatful for the contribution he and the family gave to the Kalamazoo Community for so many years.
