Of Galesburg Passed away June 4, 2008. Dixie was born April 13, 1938 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Walter and Beatrice (Gibson) Rininger. She is survived by three children, Randall & Nina Padgett of Augusta, Robin & David Perez of Chicago, IL, Scott & Deborah Rinehart of Bloomingdale; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald (Linda) Rininger of Mattawan, David (Maureen) Rininger of Plainwell; a sister, Carole Shannon & friend, Bob of Comstock; several nieces & nephews. At her request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services.
