"Jean" Of Portage, MI Died Tuesday morning, June 10, 2008 at her residence. Jean was born September 16, 1928 in Lupton, Michigan, a daughter of Roy and Mabel (Rehil) Grenier. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed as a Registered Nurse for several companies for over 50 years, before retiring. She was also a member of Southridge Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Conrad S. Burket on October 24, 2007 and two brothers, John Greenier and DeLos Grenier. She is survived by four children, Michael (Donna) Burket of Gaylord, MI, Susan (Larry) Reeves of Schoolcraft, David Burket of Traverse City, MI and Barbara (Mathew) Loveland of Charleston, IN; five grandchildren, Zachary, Michael, Lindsey, Joshua, and Jacob; three sisters, Marion (Duane) Hammond of Clio, MI, Agnes (Sam) Dye of Georgia, and Mary Ann (Dick) Harsch of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 o'clock Friday at the Langeland Family Funeral! Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 South 9th St. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Parkinson's Foundation of Michigan or the Michigan Diabetes Association. www.langelands.com. 269-343-1508.
