Do you have both of their naturalization petitions? Possible that English was already their common language BUT I am having a bit of difficult time accepting that one was Bohemian and one Polish. Possible, not impossible. If only I could locate the villages they were from. I would think that their naturalization petition would have a much better spelling of the village they were born in.
