Age 88 Of Oshtemo Twp. Passed away on February 13, 2008 at Tendercare of Westwood. Virginia was born on July 17, 1919 in Jackson, MI the daughter of the late Edward Pere and Fannie Neomah (Card) Davis. Virginia was a member of Kalamazoo First Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Van Meter, in 1992 and by three brothers and three sisters. Virginia is survived by sons, David and Donald Blair of Kalamazoo; a sister, Izetta Starr of Columbia, LA and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 18, 2008 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00PM at the Kalamazoo First Assembly of God, 5550 Oakland Dr. where Funeral Services will immediately follow at 1:00PM. Pastor Phillip McElhenny officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Broadcasting Network.
