She was born January 22, 1920 in New Orleans, LA. On January 6, 1939, Mary Ellen was united in marriage to William L. Rinehart, in New Orleans. He preceded her in death in 1978. Surviving are six children, William (Diane) Rinehart of Nipomo, CA, Ronald (Margo) Rinehart of Holland, Jeanne (Dean) Petersen of Middleville, Joanne (Aubrey) Arndt of Perrysburg, OH, Jack (Barb Craig) Rinehart of Kalamazoo, and John (Terrie) Rinehart of Mattawan; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rena Lauve of New Orleans, LA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Rinehart will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Galesburg Chapel, 145 W. Battle Creek Street, with Pastor Donald Wendell, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ever-Rest North Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral hom! e.
