Age 93 Of Kalamazoo Passed away on February 19, 2008 at Tendercare of Westwood. Palma was born June 18, 1914 in Whitehall, MI, the daughter of Roy A. and Sylvia A. (Sunday) Myles. Palma was preceded in death by her first husband, Leo T. Sleeman; second husband, Floyd A. Cartwright; son, Tom Sleeman; step-son, Ronald Cartwright and sister, Margaret Durkee. She is survived by her daughter, Palma Lee Sleeman Kingsley of Oshtemo; step-daughters, Gloria Cartwright-Agate of Portage, and Phyllis Auzins of California; step-son, Glenn Cartwright of California; sister, Dorothy (Lloyd) Pond of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and also many close cousins and friends. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 21st at Westwood Church of God (811 Gorham Ln., Kalamazoo) immediately followed by the f! uneral service at 1 PM, officiated by Pastor Jerry D. Lewis. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westwood Church of God where Palma was an active church member. Arrangements by the REDMOND Funeral Home 4100 S.
