SHIVEL - 1700 Bronson Way, Died Wednesday evening, November 19, 1997 at Bronson Place Care Center. Mrs. SHIVEL was born September 27, 1904 in Coldwater, MI, the daughter of Elmer and Jennie (MOORE) WILBUR. She had been a Kalamazoo resident for most of her life. She graduated from Kalamazoo College with a B.A. in 1926, and was a member of the Emeritus Club. She then worked at the Upjohn Company for two years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for 70 years, along with the Yomar Class, the Crysolite and Fine Arts clubs, and several Bridge groups. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph B. SHIVEL on October 10, 1971, as well as 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are 2 daughters, Jean and Gordon DOLBEE of Kalamazoo, Carol SHIVEL of Berkley, CA; 4 grandsons, Dr. John and Tara DOLBEE of Battle Creek, Tim and Mary DOLBEE of Battle Creek, Scott and Ann CUBBERLY of Olympia, WA, and Robert and Sheri CUBBERLY of San Francisco, CA; 6 great-grandchil! dren, Mark, Allison, Kent, Brenda, and Craig DOLBEE and Jessica CUBBERLY; and a niece, Marilyn PERTL of Edina, MN. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held Monday at 11:00 o'clock in the Stetson Chapel, Kalamazoo College, with the Rev. Mr. Pieter Kiwiet-Pantaleoni officiating. Private interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church Organ Fund. Arrangements by Langeland Family Funeral Homes Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
