Martha was born March 12, 1917, in Fremont, Michigan, the daughter of Klaas and Ebelina (TerLaan) VanBruggen. For 28 years Martha was employed with the Mead Company. She was a member of the Calvary Bible Church. On May 27, 1978, she was united in marriage to Fred Jepkema who preceded her in death on May 3, 1986. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, a grandchild and a great-grandchild. Surviving are her siblings, Trena Bierema, and Peter K. VanBruggen; in-laws, Betty VanBruggen, Ruth Jepkema and Ann Jepkema; step-children, Fred (Joan) Jepkema, Evelyn (Henry) Knibbe, Donald (Marilyn) Jepkema, James Jepkema, Shirley Turcott, Martin (Marcia) Jepkema and Deborah (James) Smit; 23 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday in the Chapel at the Calvary Bible Church (855 S. Drake Road) with Pastor Bryan Craddock o! fficiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick Street and Monday from 10-11 AM at the church. Interment will be in Mt.
