Christine was born on October 27, 1915 in Doniphan, MO, the daughter of Urna and Catheryn (Lacey) Oakley. Christine married Early Redmond, who preceded her in death on January 28, 1971. Christine was a member or the Comstock V.F.W. Post 6252 for over 60 years and was past President of their Ladies Auxiliary. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Surviving are three children: Jerry (Clara) Snelling of Richland, MI; Catherine Knowles of Key Largo, FL and Michael (Tracie) Redmond of Paw Paw, MI; seven grandchildren: Patrick Knowles, Mark Snelling, Julie Forrester, Justin Noble, Helena Redmond, Julie Sullivan and Jody Laws; eight great-grandchildren: Jordan, Brittany, Clairisa, Cody, McKinley, Dylan, Nathan and Benjamin; two sisters: Violet Jordan and Wilma Jarrett. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 2-4 PM at PARCHMENT - REDMOND Funeral Home 2300 East "G" Ave., 349-7735 where funeral services will be held Monday, February 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM.
