Bob was born November 20, 1956 in Kalamazoo, the son of Robert, Sr. and Betty Merritt. He enjoyed collecting lighthouses, scuba diving and spending time at Lake Michigan. Bob is survived by his wife, Francesca; two children, Donald Burton, Danielle Stairs; a grandson, R.J. Stairs; brother and sisters, Robert Gravatt, Trudy Gravatt, Candi Gates; several nieces, nephews and close friends. Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Wager. A memorial gathering will be held Friday, February 1st from 6-9 PM at the Westland Meadows Clubhouse, 4300 Leisure Lane.
