Age 80 Of Kalamazoo Township Passed away on February 19, 2008 in Kalamazoo. Elizabeth was born on April 17, 1927 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Bodo) Shrote. Elizabeth was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School and she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Kalamazoo. Elizabeth worked for the Capital Theater, Van Avery Drug Store and The W.E. Upjohn Company. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, George Postma, to whom she married November 20, 1948 at St. Joseph Catholic Church and a daughter, Mary Jane Postma of Kalamazoo. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 1:30 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kalamazoo. Fr. Robert Sirico Celebrant. Private interment of cremains were held in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph.
