Kalamazoo Connie went to be with her Lord on Saturday morning, February 16, 2008, at Borgess Medical Center. She was born June 4, 1926 in Kalamazoo, one of four children to the late Benjamin Franklin Sr. and Leora (Tuckey) Bartlett. Connie was employed by American National Bank for over 20 years until her retirement in 1981. Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Frances Potter, and Doris Bartlett; and one brother, Benjamin F. Bartlett Jr. Surviving are four nieces, Judith Hite of Kalamazoo, Marilyn (Jim) Engberts of Kalamazoo, Janice (Don) Burt of Bath, OH, and Kitti (Darryl) Bennett of Fallon, NV; two nephews, David (Robyn) Bartlett of Nashville, IN, and Joseph Nancarrow of Toledo, OH; one cousin, Phyllis (Bob) Carter of Richland; and many grand nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Connie will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 247 W. Lovell Street, with The Rev. Mother Beth McLaren officiating. Private interment will be in Mountain Home ! Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Luke's Episcopal Church or West Michigan Cancer Center.
