Kris grew up in Lansing and graduated from Lansing Everett High School. She went on to Western Michigan University where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in accounting. She was currently employed as comptroller at Mann and Hummell Automotive of Portage. She is preceded in death by her father, Martin, in 1974. Surviving is her mother, Ardis; two brothers, Kevin (Eleanor) Straley of Wilmington, DE and Kirk (Sandy) Straley; a niece, Rachel Straley of Wilmington, DE; a nephew, Toby Beeman and great-niece, Danielle Beeman and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 520 E. Mt. Hope with Rev. David D. Brooks, retired, officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday, 7-9 PM at the funeral home. In li! eu of flowers, memorials can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
