SMALL - age 90 of Kalamazoo, Formerly of Higman Park, Benton Harbor, A well known attorney and very active in his church and many civic organizations, died Saturday, November 22, 1997 at Bronson Place, Kalamazoo, where he had resided for the past five years. He was born on November 7, 1907 in Benton Harbor. Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth SMALL; two sons, Dr. Richard B. SMALL of Los Angeles, CA, Attorney Stephen C. (Karen) SMALL of South Haven; one daughter, Virginia E. (John) BIRD of Portage, MI; two sisters, Mildred (Allen) RIES of Cambridge, MA, Margaret SMALL MAINS of Laramie, WY; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Burial has taken place in Crystal Springs Cemetery, Benton Harbor. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Peace Temple United Methodist Church, Benton Harbor. Memorials may be made to the Peace Temple United Methodist Church, or Lake Michigan College, Benton Harbor. Funeral arrangements are by Fai! rplain Chapel, Florin Funeral Service, 105 E.
