(Milan) Age 92 Of Kalamazoo Passed away on February 10, 2008 at Tendercare of Kalamazoo. Florence was born in Comstock, MI on January 13, 1916, the daughter of Harim and Elizabeth (Hoogstra) Ouding. Florence was preceded in death by two sisters, Lena Baber and Bertha Boren; son, Benjamin Milan; and two husbands, Patrick Milan and Frederick Hodgemire. Florence is survived by daughters, Frances (Richard) TenBusschen of Kalamazoo, Rosi (Larry) Boelman of Mattawan, Elizabeth Milan of Oakland, CA; sons, Joseph (Dorris) Milan of Richland, Patrick Milan of Kalamazoo; Michael Milan of California and daughter-in-law, Michele Milan of San Marcos, CA. Florence is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren, two great- great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and several in-laws. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 16, 2008 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the REDMOND Funeral Home 4100 S. Westnedge-343-6156. where a memorial service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon. Pastor Paul Naumann, officiating. A luncheon will be held after the service at the Oakwood Bible Church, 4100 Oakland Dr. Memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Senior Daycare Program or Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
