NAP, 1021 Southern Ave., passed away Tuesday morning, May 16, 1989. Mrs. NAP was born Jun 3, 1908 in Laingsburg, MI, the daughter of William Y. and Lena B. (ADAMS) HICKS and was a resident of Kalamazoo since 1952. She had been Field Representative for the Michigan Society for Crippled Children for many years. Her husband, Emerson NAP, passed away in May of 1978. Surviving are 1 son, James and wife, Joyce WALSER of Lansing; 1 daughters, Mary Jo HOMRICH of Portage; 6 grandchildren, Rhonda, Daniel and Stephanie HOMRICH and Michael BRINK, all of Kalamazoo, Jeff and Joel WALSER, both of Lansing; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances J. FORSTER of Galesburg and by a brother, Hugh W. HICKS of Menlo Park, CA. Services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at the Langeland Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick, A Trust 100 Chapel, Rev. Mr. Charles R. Hulbert officiating. Interment in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery.! Friends may call at the chapel after 7 this evening.
