Mr. NAP was born October 9, 1920 in Kalamazoo the son of Otto and Margaret (WHITEMAN) NAP and was a life long resident of the Kalamazoo area. Before his retirement he was employed as a carpenter for many years. He was a member of the Carpenter's union No. 297 and a member of Northern Heights Christian Reformed Church. Surviving are his wife Joyce (DEKAM) Nap; 2 sons and 2 daughters, Ruth NAP of Grand Rapids; Mary NAP of Kalamazoo; Allan NAP of Minneapolis; Dr. Frank and wife Evy Rose of California; Margie WHITE of Mattawan; David NAP of Connecticut; 1 grandson, Dean WHITE of Kalamazoo; 3 brothers, 2 sisters and their spouses, Henry and Henrietta NAP of Kalamazoo; Case and Grace SCHOONBECK of Portage; Tom and Pauline NAP of Florida; Maynard and Betty LAROY of Kalamazoo; Otto and Martha NAP of Portage; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Don NAP. Se! rvices will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Langeland Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick A Trust 100 Chapel with Rev. Mr. J. George Aupperlee officiating. Interment in West Cooper Cemetery. Friends may call the Chapel after 7 this evening where the family will be present from 7-9.
