NEAL, loving and caring father passed away Tuesday morning, November 14, 2000 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was a devoted loving husband and father who is survived by his wife of 68 years., Thelma Edith NEAL. Mr. NEAL was born January 11, 1914 in Richland, Michigan, a son of Adrian A. and Mary E. (COLE) NEAL. He had been a lifelong Kalamazoo area resident, and was employed with James River for 43 years, retiring in 1979. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Delora; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by 5 children, Stanley "Buck" (Sally) NEAL of Allegan, Dolores (Donald) COOK of Kalamazoo, Eileen (Marshall) GRAHAM of Delton, Diana (James) STRATTON of Kalamazoo, and Phyllis (Richard)GARRETT of Lowell; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 o'clock Friday from the Langeland Family Funeral Homes Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St., 343-1508 with the Rev. Mr. Mike Kemper! , of Lutheran Church of the Savior, officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be in East Cooper Cemetery.
