On June 19, 1954, she was united in marriage to Reece P. Clift, Jr. and they resided in the Detroit area for many years. After retirement they moved to Florida and in 2005 they relocated to be closer to family in Portage. She was currently a member of Second Reformed Church of Kalamazoo. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Reece on March 14, 2007; she also was preceded by a sister, Dorothy Priehs. Surviving are a daughter, Darcy Clift-Coon and husband, Mike Coon of Portage; and two grandchildren, Meacha and Riley both of Portage. A service to celebrate Peggy's life will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 2 at Second Reformed Church (2323 Stadium Drive). The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service from 6-7 PM. A private family interment will be held at a later date in Kentucky.
