She was born October 15, 1925 in Harpura Punjab, India, to the late Mr. Amar Singh and Mrs. Aas Kaur. Mrs. Kaur was united in marriage in 1937, to Mr. Raghbir Singh, who died August 21, 2009. Surviving Mrs. Kaur are her children, Kuldeep (Doris) Singh Sra of Naperville, IL, Pritpal (Harpal Kaur) Singh of Portage, Amrik (Rajtinder Kaur) Singh of Battle Creek, Manjit (Mani) Singh of India, Inderjit (Daljit Singh) Kaur of California and India and Jaspal (Rajneet Kaur) Singh of Portage; sisters, Harbans Kaur and Kulwant Kaur. Also preceding Mrs. Kaur in death was a sister, Gurnam Kaur. Services will take place Saturday, April 3, from 9 to 10:30 AM, at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Chapel, 3926 S. 9th St., Priest Balwinder Singh, officiating.
