He faithfully served and was Honorably discharged from the United States Navy. He is survived by his loving wife, the former Sharon Boone. Along with four children, Laurilee Shindledecker, Teresa (Steven) Pierce, Kurt (Cindy) Shindledecker, and Margie Gomez and her companion Enrique Perez, special daughter, Donna Burrell; and thirteen grandchildren. In accordance with Francis's wishes cremation has taken place. A private Memorial with full Military Honors will take place at a later date.
