Ronald Formerly of Kalamazoo Ron went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 12th, 2010 at the age of 78. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan where he lived until moving to Arizona in 1972. Ron was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and served in French Indo China (Vietnam), Korea and Japan. Ron worked in the food industry for most of his life. He loved times shared with his family, enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. He loved showing visitors the beauty of Arizona. While living in Michigan, he was a member of The Milwood Christian Reform Church, serving on the consistory as a Deacon. Ron's relationship with the Lord was a vital part of his life and he loved sharing his testimony of God's saving grace. He was a faithful member of Crossroads Nazarene Church here in Chandler, serving as an Usher for many years and was involved in the visitation ministry at various Care Centers as his health allowed. Ron is survived by his wife, Irvalene whom he met and married in 1979 after moving to Arizona. Also surviving ar! e his sons, Mark Alan and Michael Jay Wylie. Son, James Robert Wylie and his parents, Dorothy and Roy Wylie preceded him in death. Also surviving are step daughter, Darlene McGeary and step son, David (Deborah) McGeary. Ron was blessed with nine grandchildren, Brandy and Garret Wylie, Candice (Aaron) Gwin, Nicole and Lauren Wylie, Paul, Emily, Laura and William McGeary. Ron leaves five siblings all of the Kalamazoo area, Helen Adams, Roy (Barbara) Wylie, Gordon (Sandy) Wylie, Marsha Agema, Connie (Jim) Klok, and sister-in-law, Jackie Wylie. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Willene Hayes, and numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be held in Arizona. Interment and Military Honors will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
